Dr Oksar born in 1967, in Izmir,  Turkey , completed his high school education at Saint Joseph French High School in Izmir. In 1992, he graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Medicine and went on to finish his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Akdeniz University. Upon completion of this program, he became a Board Certified Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in 1999. Immediately following, he continued his training in the specialty of plastic surgery at Antalya State Hospital for seven years, untill 2007 April. Dr. Oksar completed four different research projects while he was  in the Akdeniz University. These experimental and clinical investigations were a new, innovative concept in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Meanwhile, he  decided  to  work having his own  private practice  in Antalya  . Dr. Oksar is an  active   member of  many plastic surgery  associations and organizations   including  The Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons , The International Society of Aethetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) and The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASAPS). He speaks English and French.
