Prof. Dr. Nurullah Bülbüller completed his General Surgery training at Fırat University Medical Faculty in 1998. He worked as a specialist and lecturer in the same university until Between 2009 and 2015 he worked as chief of general surgery clinic and head of the hospital in Antalya Training and Research Hospital. He has been working as a professor in the  Faculty of Medicine of Akdeniz University since 2015.

Since 2007 he performed  more than 1,200 operations in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery.  Sleeve gastrectomy, roux-en-y gastric bypass, mini-gastric bypass, and transit bipartition are surgical procedures commonly performed.

Prof Bulbuller  is a member of IFSO(International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity And Metabolic Disorders) , TOSS (Turkish Obesity Surgery Society) and BMCD (Turkish Society for  Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery).
