I am a Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology with a special focus on spine surgery. Throughout my clinical and academic career, I have concentrated particularly on complex spinal conditions that require advanced evaluation, surgical planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.
My main clinical areas of interest include scoliosis, kyphosis, spinal deformity surgery, revision spine surgery, cervical disc herniation, spinal canal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative spine disorders, spinal trauma, spinal tumors, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
In my practice, I especially focus on complex spine cases where careful case selection, detailed imaging review, and individualized treatment planning are essential. For international patients, each case is first evaluated remotely through available medical reports and imaging studies in order to assess clinical suitability, treatment options, and travel feasibility.
When surgery in Türkiye is considered appropriate, the treatment process is planned in coordination with the patient and the referring/assisting team. Postoperative documentation, rehabilitation recommendations, and follow-up guidance can be shared to support continuity of care after the patient returns home.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have made significant academic and scientific contributions in orthopedics, traumatology, and spine surgery. My academic work includes peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and contributions to the spine surgery literature. I have an H-index of 37, reflecting my academic impact and citation performance in the medical literature.
